In Luke 15, the second son left his father and lived a riotous life. However, his miserable situation of unable to even eat the fruits that the pigs ate led his heart back to his father.  

Where the heart goes, the body naturally follows. Remembering the abundance of food and peace that was at his father's house, the son returned and the father saw him from afar, ran to him, and kissed him.
