Brazil Retreat (November 23, 2011)

Last November 2nd to 6th, there was the 5th Brazil retreat with Pastor Young-guk Park from New york church.

About 200 brothers and sister from 6 different Brazil church got together by far distance trip and plane.

Recently, there were testimonies of God who worked hard for us through Cantata tour concert in 8 different cities of America, and so as in Brazil, many brothers and sisters were able to hope in God.

There is reason why God is giving us hardship. He wants us to be humble and be sympathized by him. We can learn about faith from members in Bible like Ahaz, Hezekiah, and Mephibosheth, and our heart got touched by word and testimony of God.

In the afternoon schedule we visited Sao Paulo central market, 25 de Marco market, Horto park and so on. All the brothers and sisters had sport activity and had great time together.

On Saturday, brothers and sisters attended academy and introduced IYF through culture night event. It was great opportunity to meet the mind of God.

About 40 new people listen to the gospel and received salvation, and on Saturday about 50 people were baptized and they were happy to be the righteous men.

Meanwhile, we used to think ‘I cannot do it’ and we were capped in that mind. But our God gave us the word, “Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.” (Corinthians 6:11). Through this word God help us to escape from our mind and guided us to put our mind in the kingdom of God.
