[Eswatini] Pastor Park meets King Mswati III & the Royal family: “Eswatini and the Good News Mi

3. Princess Shikasone of Eswatini (the first princess) meets with Pastor Ock Soo Park

King Mswati III of Eswatini and Pastor Ock Soo Park meet for the sixth time

On April 3rd, 2019 the King of Eswatini, (formerly known as Swaziland) Mswati III, formally invited Pastor Ock Soo Park and the medical team to a sixth meeting. In September of 2016, the King was moved by the beautiful music of the students of the Sesori Music school and said, “I need to meet the leader of these young people who have such outstanding mindsets”. Eventually, he invited Pastor Park for their first meeting later that year.

Since then, he has met with Pastor Park yearly and has received him as the main speaker for events such as the Eswatini National Prayer service. Although Pastor Park arrived early in the morning with his entourage, King Mswati III was waiting to give them a warm welcome. He especially thanked the medical team who came to treat the royal family and went with pastor to a meeting room for individual counseling.

During the meeting, Pastor Park said, “When you rely on God, anything is possible. The future IYF youth center and Mind Education will nurture the youth into leaders who will guide Eswatini.”

Mswati III rejoiced as he said, “I am grateful every time Pastor Ock Soo Park visits, because he brings the Word of God to Eswatini.” The king further stated that Eswatini and the Good News Mission will always be together.

After the meeting was over, the Gracias Choir performed for his majesty. He praised them saying, “The choir’s music is improving as the days go by.”

The Mother of Eswatini meets with Pastor Ock Soo Park for the third time

On the evening of April 2nd, Pastor Park met the Mother of Eswatini.

Pastor Ock Soo Park preached the gospel to her with the verses from Romans 3:23-24. “Though we are all sinners because we had sinned, God sent Jesus for sinful people like us to wash away all our sin and He has made us righteous. That is why we are righteous. This Bible verse is like a verdict from a judge. Mother of Eswatini, God tells you “you are washed, you are righteous, and you are sanctified.” When you believe this word, your heart becomes one with God.”

Princess Shikasone of Eswatini meets with Pastor Ock Soo Park

The First Princess of the King, Princess Shikasone also met with Pastor Ock Soo Park.

On the evening of the 2nd day, the first princess of the King, Princess Shikasone (who is also the Minister of Information Communication Technology) visited Pastor Park.

Princess Shikasone had been present at the first meeting with the King. After she had listened to Pastor Park’s sermon, she received spiritual counseling as well. She esteems Pastor Park as the servant of God to the point that she would talk about every concern on her mind every time pastor visits Eswatini.

Eswatini is a beautiful and a blessed country where the King, the Mother, and the Princesses humble themselves before the Word. We have great hope of how the youth who will lead Africa will be nurtured on the 24.5 acres of estate which the King has provided for the youth center. Additionally, we envision a future for Eswatini which is ruled by a King who has received the gospel in his heart.
