Gracias Choir was awarded the top prize, 1st place for mixed chorus, and a prize for romantic choral work at the world’s most prestigious Marktoberdorf International Choir Competition.
This competition brought together 10 mixed choir teams and 5 female chorus, who competed against each other.
Through being awarded the top prize at this choral competition, being amidst performances by top-level choirs from all over the world with various tones; Gracias Choir was acknowledged for it’s world renowned skills, and will now be able to meet audiences on even more stages.
Second place for mixed chorus went to Oregon University Choir, while third place went to choirs from Ukraine, USA and Indonesia.
