The Bible is interesting because, if looked at closely, it precisely shows the providence of God and the plan of Satan. In John chapter 5 there were many invalids at the pool of Bethesda waiting to be healed, and there were two ways for them to be healed. One was through the way of Jesus and the other was what the angel prepared. The method of the angel was that whosoever first entered the pool when the angel would come and trouble the water would be healed. Therefore, the way was opened for the best; the one with the most effort and worked to be healed. On the contrary, Jesus had people be healed through accepting the Word by faith, regardless of their efforts.
