Jesus is known by many names as we read the Scriptures: the Bread of Life, the Good Shepherd, the Vine, the Living Water, and so forth. Just as the names suggest, Jesus does many works inside of us. In the Scriptures that we will be talking about today, the disciples of Jesus are in dire straits because they encountered a storm as they were sailing to Capernaum. Jesus came at that moment, calmed the storm, and they were able to arrive at their destination.
