At 6 a.m. on December 12th , the third day of the Vietnam Music Exchange and Mind Lecture, there was a signing ceremony for MOU between Ho Chi Minh Music College and the Gracias Choir at Ben Thanh Music Hall.
As they were preparing for the Vietnam Music Exchange and Mind Lecture, they tried to discuss the Cultural Performance with Ho Chi Minh Music College. They came to sign the MOU to ensure music education cooperation and idea exchange between each organization.
In this signing ceremony, Minh Huong, the president of Ho Chi Minh Music College, Hoang Diep, the Dean of the Department of Public & Practical Music, and several professors also attended to enhance cooperation and improve their relationship with the Gracias Choir. Phuoc Hai, a Dean of Ho Chi Minh Music College, addressed that he was so happy to have the MOU with the Gracias Choir and he was looking forward to having a musical exchange with the Gracias Choir. The Gracias Choir promised that they would have an exchange for musical training and give professional and short-term classes and some opportunities to perform.
To celebrate the signing ceremony, there were Gracias Choir performances. The Choir’s Vietnamese song gave a lot of joy to the college officials who attended this ceremony.
In his congratulatory message, Pastor Park said, “I hope the Ho Chi Minh Music College will give the Gracias Choir much help and our Gracias Choir will also help your college any way we can. Even though it’s difficult right now, in the near future I hope the Gracias Choir will perform with your students and also have overseas performances together. Our choir has many members from different countries. I hope that some students of your college will become our members. So I hope that we deliver together our love and the heart of God to the people all around the world. God bless you.”
“Because the Department of Public & Practical Music in the Ho Chi Minh Music College is a new department, it needs much interest and support. Today we had a signing ceremony to develop the students who have musical talent through cooperating with the Gracias Choir. I’m really happy that our department could exchange with the Gracias Choir through this event.” -Minh Huong, President of Ho Chi Minh Music College-
Through this MOU signing ceremony between the Ho Chi Minh Music College and the Gracias Choir, we hope that they can spread and educate the music which brightens the darkened heart; that it will become an opportunity to preach the gospel and open their hearts.
